Hello everyone! Healer here again, and judging by how many views my last post about Grind- related music got, I think it's safe to say that there's at least some level of interest in that sphere, and I wanted to make a cute little thread dedicated to it. I encourage the rest of you guys to share your own personal Grindy Recommendations as well! I might delete my thread on Cloacal Kiss so I can just shove it in this thread, but I dunno. It seems redundant to keep it up now.
Sometimes it seems like all I talk about on this forum is music, but I promise I like more than funny sounds!
Well, I'll do whatever with that later. Today, I want to share 3 Grindcore recommendations that I think are awesome:
Sugar Wounds
Sugar Wounds is a self-described "Grindgaze" band, taking elements from Blackgaze and Grindcore to create a sound that's sure to stick out amongst its contemporaries. It blends ethereal ambiance with an almost, somehow, equally surreal and magical flurry of screamed vocals akin to Black Metal's flavor of screams, grind, and samples of cats purring and meowing! Calico Dreams is the best album from this band, but that might not be saying much because there isn't much to choose from to begin with. Every release is wonderful, but this one in specific really grips me. It fills my heart with something indescribable; it gives me the feeling of floating over the world as its overrun with a thick miasma of saccharine sweetness. It's hooked my sweet tooth, for sure.

Atka
Atka is a Mathgrind band from Germany that sounds like someone was able to translate an anxiety attack into audio form, and it's beyond addicting. For a Grindcore band, this band has some very sterile and clean production. You can clearly hear the instrumentation and everything is recorded with surprising clarity. The tracks themselves are a display of absolute mania and chaos, but not in the traditional "AUUURGHHH IM SO FUCKING ANGRY BLAHHHH!!!" way that usually encapsulates Grindcore's beautiful chaos. It feels very clipped and controlled despite how intense it gets, like a rabid dog frothing at the mouth trying to bite at your ankles only held back by a leash. The album that I like the most out of the catalog is Untitled Album 1! While the tracks have a tendency to blur together, the general content of Untitled Album 1 is more than enough to make up for how same-y it can get. It's frenetic, sterilized terror that gives you a pleasant amount of breathing room in the form of an ambient track 10 minutes in, and also the last track having a very defined and clear structure in comparison to the rest of the album. While it gives you some room to breathe, it'll drag you back in faster than you'll be able to scream for help.

ZOMBIESHARK!
ZOMBIESHARK! was my personal introduction to both Grindcore and Cybergrind, and even after entrenching myself into the world of weird grindcore, ZOMBIESHARK! still holds up very well. Born From A Wish, the EP which I pulled the art from, is introspective as it is hateful. It feels like punching a mirror image of yourself as snot rolls down your nose and your eyes are drowned in a waterfall of tears. It bludgeons you repeatedly over and over with an autotuned monstrosity that molds its form into a fleshy, robotic monstrosity that looks just like you. Aren't you beautiful? Despite this, however, ZOMBIESHARK! is... surprisingly danceable! It has light whisperings of almost trance-y elements to it that almost command you to move.
That's all! Thank you for taking a looksie. Sorry if the descriptions weren't up to par, I'm still very new to the whole "actually describing music" thing... Oh well!
