I know most characters considered Chibifur are from anime/manga/Japanese mascots, but what about animal characters from western media like Littlest Pet Shop and Neopets? I imagine most examples of North American chibifur designs will be inspired by the anime style, but I want to hear what you guys think! I'll try to include some characters from non-anime media that might be considered chibifur, but I wonder if it's mostly Japanese media that creates these little guys. Maybe this is a similar discussion to "Does it have to be made in Japan to be considered anime?"

I'd love to see more people add on chibifur designs from media besides anime & video games made in Japan! It doesn't necessarily have to be from North America either, I included Katsuma from Moshi Monsters which was made in the UK! It was hard to think of examples, because one could maybe argue that like, a Care Bear or Spike from My Little Pony could count as a chibifur design, but it doesn't feel right for those cases. And I don't think that simply Big Heads Big Eyes is the qualifier either, because a Ty Beanie Boo doesn't fit either.
