I vote for keeping it! I personally love forum RP and haven't really found a great avenue to do so in a long time. ;w;

Perhaps setting up a roleplay rules/etiquette sticky thread would help? Might help people feel more confident in posting topics there? Alternatively, Flight Rising has a sort of "intro to RP" sticky where anyone can hop in and practice at any time, if that might be a good idea here too. ^^;
For anyone else who may want to start an RP but has reservations, I imagine interest check and OOC topics would be allowed, right?

Maybe if there were resources included in the pinned not only about etiquette but about worldbuilding, character writing, just creative writing in general. Oh!! Fuck!!! That's a good idea.
Maybe make the Roleplay board a general Writing/Writers/OC board!!! A lot of people won't notice the little subtitle saying it's to discuss OCs, not to say people haven't done that but it tends to go on different boards.
Guides on writing character sheets, maps, stuff like that. Sounds like a lot of fun. I've always had a writer spirit when I was young and I used to roleplay a TONNNNNN on Tumblr back in the day, I'm definitely passionate about it.
And besides, just because it may be unpopular doesn't mean you necessarily should can it anyways. At least that's how I feel.

I really wanted to do like. A post on there in the near future to playtest a TTRPG I'm making (which is nowhere near completion right now). So I really want it to stay, even if it's not gonna be used much.

Not sure if my idea follows the rules much but I think it does?
